Before starting Bar Method, I’d never been the gym type.  I’ve always been active, but have never found a workout that I actually enjoyed doing.  

As a college athlete, I worked out with a trainer several times per week, but never saw results that gave me the Victoria’s Secret model body that I was hoping for. In hindsight, maybe if I had spent less time flirting with the cute football boys and put more energy into the workouts, I may have had a little more success.  

Since college, I have casually worked out a little bit here and there. I have just never seen enough results to keep me motivated. As a firm believer in the ‘work hard, play harder’ lifestyle, I have really struggled finding time and energy in the past couple years to stick with any type of workout routine.

A girlfriend of mine started Bar Method recently and really raved about it.  Her passion for it intrigued me enough for me to give it a shot.  I’m not going to lie, she got me to that first class by bribing me with champagne and cupcakes afterwards, which ended up being the best idea ever! 

I loved Bar Method right from the beginning. People seem to think I am crazy, but I swear that I started to feel my muscles lean and tone right from day one! Now I am 21 classes hooked on Bar Method. I have been at it for a little over a month and feel AMAZING! The only downside is I find myself leaving home dressed a little more scandalous than I should... but it's only because my legs are looking so lean and toned I just want to show them off!

It's not just my legs that are reaping the benefits, my whole body is looking more lean and chiseled and I feel so energized!  I used to be the girl who would press snooze until I was late for work and run out the door completely discombobulated.  My morning Bar workouts have motivated me to get up early (I still fight with the alarm but just not so bad anymore) and get a good workout in before the rest of the world wakes up. I love it! It’s my hour of ‘me’ time that gives me the energy to hit the ground running.  

The Seattle and Redmond studios both have an excellent atmosphere and the nicest people. The instructors are all amazing and give personalized attention. I have even made friends at class!  I am SO glad that I happen to be motivated by champagne and cupcakes because that first day of Bar Method really changed my outlook on working out and hooked me! I have seen such fabulous results in my first 21 classes that I cannot wait to see what the next 21 classes bring!

Thank you Bar Method! I think this is the beginning of a long and happy relationship!
