Mary Ann's Story:

The BAR METHOD in Redmond WA, courtesy of Bev, Maika and Luke in a very short period of time has changed my life! 

My daughter Christine resides in California with her husband, two small children and lives a very active life. After enjoying the results of the ‘Bar Method life style’ for two years and calling me constantly to talk about the positive effects it has had on her body, mind and attitude, she challenged me to do the same.  In the Fall of 2009 I was put into the Redmond Bar email system and  alerted to their new site and Bar Method program.  The rest is history! 

I signed on in mid January (this year) and I might add without too much enthusiasm because I was suffering from a lower back injury.  However, once I began taking classes under the watchful eyes of Bev and Maika, was nurtured with kind comments, disciplined corrections and happy faces, I got the message; this is working for me.   It’s about determination and understanding what the ‘Bar Method’ can bring even to a ‘stubborn older body’. My revolution, posture has improved significantly, back is stronger and without pain, and body shows overall defined improvement; my Family and friends tell me.

Recently I recruited my daughter –in-law Carolyn to join our family Bar challenge.  She accepted and is now a devout believer in the Bar and despite serious diversity with job time frame challenges, she manages to take three to four classes early in the mornings.   She loves  her own personal results.
As I hear consistently from my classmates “the Bar is addicting and like no other form of exercise, it works!”.
